Borewell depth 633 feet, motor stuck at 70 feet with mud and stone - Should we install new motor ?

We had dug a bore well @725 feet in Seeghalli, Bangalore & inserted submersible 3 HP 35 stage motor pump @675 feet and 100 feet of casing in it. There are 6 water channels inside it. Water level started @ 500 feet & continued till 633 feet. We got about 2 inches water. The motor stopped working in a few days.  After 6 months we put camera & were informed that mud & stones had accumulated at 70 feet & jammed the motor pump.

The house is already constructed, hence workers tried to retrieve the motor pump & Hume pipe manually through a pulley, but it did not work. They suggested cutting the pipe at 650 feet & inserting another motor, but the workers have cut the pipe @532 feet by cutter and taken out the pipe leaving approximately 100 feet pipe inside the bore. The motor is also inside the bore stuck in the mud/boulder.

The water table starts at 500 feet currently with a wide gap at 633 feet. My query is:

  • Should we install another pump/motor in the bore? If so, then at what depth?
  • Is there any way to retrieve the pipe left inside the bore? So that we can put the motor at a greater depth since there is plenty of water in the bore.
  • Is there any other/better alternative?
