Bore is 280 feet deep and dry - No space to drill a new one, existing one is surrounded by houses all around, need help

Borewell depth is 280 feet, currently dry.

Would like to know if this borewell can be re-drilled further deep. The location is such that it is surrounded by houses on all 4 corners and there is only a 3 feet gap between the compound wall.

There is no space to drill a new one. Need suggestions on what can be done.
