Able to pump water for just an hour from borewell, after that no water even if pump is on-Will the submersible pump be affected?

Hi all,

Recently we got a bore well drilled in our site whose specifications are
Depth-500 ft;
Bore well yield - 1.5 to 2 inch of water;
Submersible pump installed at 450 ft
Till 100 ft we got mud so casing is done till 100 ft, after that at 400 ft we hit rock then got water, but still proceeded till 500 ft even then we hit only rock then stopped drilling.

Now the problem is we are able to pump water for only 1 hour from the bore well afterwards water will not be pumped out even though the motor is on.
If we try pumping water out from borewell after 4 or 5 hrs of initial discharge again we get water for around 30 to 45 mins. Is it a common phenomena? or does this problem become worse as the days go? Does this affect the submersible motor installed in borewell (if it runs without pumping out water)?

Somebody please answer to my query ASAP.

Thanks in Advance,
