Water and Land Management Training Research Institute (WALAMTARI) and International Water Management Institute (IWMI), South Asia located at Hyderabad are jointly anchoring the Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research (ACIAR) funded “Climate Water Forum- Andhra Pradesh”. The Forum will aim to consolidate, synthesize the climate change research initiatives of various projects implemented with the assistance of state and central ministries, bilateral agencies and prepare policy advocacy guidelines.
Job description
The forum intends to recruit a Senior Technical Coordinator. The position is based at WALAMTARI, Hyderabad and the ACIAR funding is available for one year. WALAMTARI intends to fund for the second year.
Qualification
Minimum Post Graduate in Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental sciences. Ph.D is desirable
Experience
10-15 years experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years on climate change related research projects.
Remuneration
Commensurate with experience and qualification

Terms of Reference
- Be the full time anchor/Contact person for the forum
- Regular follow-up with key project implementers and obtain latest research results
- Study/analyze research results and prepare summaries, briefs, etc.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, conferences of /by the forum
- Contribute to publication of research results
- Any other matter relating to the objectives of the forum
