TU Delft urban water movie contest invites film entries, send by May 15, 2012

TU Delft

The issue of water in cities is becoming an ever-increasing challenge because of urban spread and the fact that much of the world's population lives in cities. How do people access drinking water? Does water recycling offer a solution to water shortages and how should this be achieved? How should waste water and rainwater be disposed of and treated? Is urban water a potential source of energy and raw materials? How can we ensure that our cities remain safe as sea levels rise and rivers are affected by extreme weather and other demographic factors?

Description:
To enter the contest, make a film lasting up to 3 minutes and upload it on TU Delft Urban Water Movie Contest site using the link. Please note that all participants are welcome, not only students of TU Delft. The best three entries will also be premiered exclusively during TU Delft's Water Week (part of the 170th anniversary) and will be entered in the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).
