Society for Promotion and Conservation of Environment (SPACE)Society for Promotion and Conservation of Environment (SPACE), a Chandigarh based professional group having competence and expertise in natural resource management, is one of the partner organization in this project to carry out the task of impact assessment of the project activities. Under the project, SPACE is looking for a Programme Officer - NRM to handle the day-to-day impact assessment activities in the project villages.

Job description:

The job responsibilities include: Carry out the impact assessment studies in the project villages on the pre-defined indicators, measurement of runoff and rainwater storage in selected calibrated Pals, well observations and its impact of agriculture and livelihood, to conduct baseline studies in the project villages on productivity, vegetation, economic status, human and livestock population, rainfall pattern and its distribution etc.

Qualification:

The candidate should have M.Sc in Agriculture Science or similar qualification with 5-7 years of work experience on NRM programme, preferably in the geographical areas of Aravali hills.

Short listed candidate will be called for interview at Gurgaon/Chandigarh and their to-and-fro cost of travel will be reimbursed.
