The National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Hyderabad – premier National Center of Excellence in rural development announces its Fifth fully residential "One-year ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)" especially for the North-Eastern candidates with an aim to create a committed and competent cadre of Rural Development professionals from North-Eastern states.
Location:
The Programme will be conducted at NERC, Guwahati
Eligibility:
Graduation in any discipline from a UGC-recognised University
Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test will be conducted on 15.07.2012 from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM at Guwahati, Itanagar, Imphal, Dimapur, Gangtok, Aizawl, Agartala and Shillong.
Course Fee:
Rs.1.60 lakhs for Open / OBC candidates, Rs.1.50 lakh for SC/ST/PWD candidates plus Rs.10,000/- as refundable Caution Money. Lodging and Boarding charges extra at actuals.
Scholarships:
North East Council is likely to offer some scholarships to the students.

As per Government of India’s policy.

NIRD has achieved 100% placement for all its previous batches
