The role of the Project Officer is to plan, execute, and monitor project interventions according to Project objectives and guidelines. This includes formation of farmers groups, on and off farm training, conducting field demonstrations, data collection and intensive follow up with the farmers.
Qualification:
- University degree or college diploma in agriculture
- Minimum 1-2 years field work experience in agriculture development projects
- Basic understanding of community mobilization process
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Ability to stay, work and travel in rural areas
- Experience of working in closed, socio-economically backward region
- Ability to convey useful information and effective communication with the farming community
