The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a policy institute whose diverse Stockholm-based, internationally-oriented programmes and activities contribute to finding sustainable solutions to the world’s escalating water crisis. SIWI manages projects, synthesises research and publishes findings and recommendations on current and future water, environment, governance and human development issues.
Eligibility:
Companies and business organisations that have made impressive achievements in water and wastewater process technologies, improved performance in production processes, or have made other significant contributions to help improve the world water situation are eligible to be nominated for the Stockholm Industry Water Award.
Nomination Procedure:
Both external and self nominations are welcome. The nomination should describe in which way the enterprise excels in its field, and include at least two reference letters as well as material supporting the accomplishments.
The nomination period for the 2011 award is now open. Deadline for submission is February 15, 2011.
