Job description:
Applications are invited for the following positions for the Delhi office of the International Water Management Institute at NASC Complex, Pusa Campus. The position is for 3 years and can be renewed further based on the performance of the candidate and funding availability. An attractive compensation is offered for the right candidate.
Position:
Research-cum-Communications Officer position in CGIAR Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), South Asia.
Qualification:
- University degree in Social Science/Environmental Science/Communications or a related field, preferably with research experience in the field of climate change and agriculture and associated communications such as writing on scientific and development issues, developing communications tools for targeted audiences, e-newsletters, and editing reports.
- A sound background on proposal writing, field research and surveys, qualitative and quantitative research, statistical tools and techniques is necessary along with communication skills mentioned above.
- The applicant will be engaged in social science research focusing on climate change issues in South Asia along with communication activities.
