IGNOU opens admissions to three online courses, New Delhi - Apply by October 15, 2011

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has inivited applications for three online programmes on nutrition, the Himalayan ecosystem and management of the Ganges river.

The objective of the programme 'Appreciation Programme on Sustainable Management of Ganga' is to create awareness about the Ganga and its connection with Indian civilization and culture.

The 'Leadership Programme on Nutrition Security and Sustainable Development' plans to sensitise policy and programme leaders to rely more on evidence-based programming for achieving targets.

Besides, the 'Leadership Programme on Himalayan Ecosystems' is based on practical exercises, case studies, and field visits.

Furthermore, once registered, learners will have access to personalized space, which includes self-instructional study material, related audio and video, slides, and self-check exercises on one platform.

The APSMG course is for a minimum duration of one and half months and can stretch upto eight months.

The last date for submitting applications is October 15, 2011.
