Centre for Science and EnvironmentThe Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is a public interest research and advocacy organisation based in New Delhi. CSE researches into, lobbies for and communicates the urgency of development that is both sustainable and equitable.
The CSE, an established research and advocacy institute needs Deputy Coordinator/Senior Researcher for its urban water programme.

Job description:

The job responsibilities includes: High quality policy and technical research in the area of water/wastewater management. Organising and coordinating training programmes. Providing technical support (planning and designing) on decentralised wastewater treatment systems such as baffled septic tank, root zone treatment, polishing pond. Interacting with policy makers, municipal functionaries/utility providers, scientists and other target groups, network and campaign.

Qualification:

Postgraduates in environmental science, environment planning or other related subjects or graduates in engineering (preferably civil, environmental/public health engineering), architecture with experience of 5-6 years preferably in the area of water and wastewater treatment/management may apply. You must have experience and interest in managing campaigns, organising public lectures, seminars and workshops.
