Description:

CMS invites applications for empanellment of Water and Sanitation Consultants based in Delhi. 

Desired skills and experience:

  • Post graduate or doctoral qualification in social science or civil engineering or water chemistry or water quality or other relevant qualification with at least 15 years of work experience on handling of water and sanitation relating projects. 

  • Good communication and documentation skills, ability to draft proposals, EOI and concept note for different ministries and multi and bi-lateral agencies.

  • Good understanding and work experience of water and sanitation related projects specifically in the field of monitoring and evaluation, capacity building of stakeholders and in development of research papers.

  • Strong analytical skills, expert knowledge on the socio economic, technical and institutional aspects of development and proven experience of working in the sector. 

  • Experience in research, and adequate knowledge of research methods and tools and analysing the emergent findings.

  • Understanding of demography, statistics, data analysis tools.

  • Report writing skills.

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment and network and share information with multiple partners.

  • Experience in water quality analysis and point of use treatment, stand alone or household treatment water systems. 
  • Ability to carry out field testing of water sampling, both bacteriological and chemical as well as the ability to organize and manage laboratory tests in districts, and verify the results accurately, to Bureau of Indian Standards.
