With more than 250 laboratories and research groups, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) is one of Europe’s most innovative and productive technology institutes.
To help professionals to adapt to today’s globalized world, situations and promote an interdisciplinary and multicultural approach to these problems, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne with the support of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is organizing a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Management of Development Projects (MaDePro) targeted at project managers, engineers, architects, social scientists and other equivalent university graduates. The program is based on three different aspects: knowledge, practice and skills.

Qualification:
Participants are required to have a university degree or equivalent title, two or more years of work experience will be an advantage, strong motivation - We may ask applicants to attend an interview or be interviewed via teleconference

The course is structured in three parts, all which are compulsory:
- Part 1 (e-Learning 8hrs/wk/19 wks): 3rd October, 2011 to 19th February, 2012
- Part 2 (Full time in India 2 weeks): 27th February to 11th March, 2012
- Part 3 (Individual project 8 weeks): 12th March to 6th May, 2012
