Description:

This conference is part of a broader effort within the Indo-Pak Young Global Leaders community to strengthen ties and improve bilateral understanding. The initiative will benefit from the engagement of officials from the National Disaster Management Authorities of both Pakistan and India and the SAARC Disaster Management Centre.

The conference is expected to result in a bilateral network of experts and practitioners with an active programme on policy engagement. The network will be practical and results-oriented seeking to leverage the engagement of different communities, skills-sets and cultures to promote solutions to climate change and disaster risk reduction in the region.
