Description: Ahead of the 2011 World Water Week in Stockholm, Cap-Net/UNDP and the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) are giving the opportunity to World Water Week participants and non-participants alike to improve their water management knowledge and skills. The courses are designed for water management practitioners, donor agency workers, government representatives, capacity builders, members of civil society organisations and other groups.
The courses aim to promote IWRM implementation and therefore a multidiscipline target group is aimed for. The courses are designed and facilitated by experienced capacity builders from two world leaders in water capacity building: Cap-Net/UNDP and SIWI, and others affiliates with their network.

The course designs are based on the experience of Cap-Net affiliated networks and SIWI who intensively deliver capacity building for IWRM globally.
Facilitation: The courses will be facilitated by experienced capacity builders from partner networks affiliated to Cap-Net and SIWI. The courses will make use of existing and tested training materials developed by Cap-Net and SIWI that will be made available to the participants. Each course will be an intensive one-day session, using a combination of lectures, facilitated discussion and group exercises.
