TERI was formally established in 1974 with the purpose of tackling and dealing with the immense and acute problems that mankind is likely to face within in the years ahead
Topics:
The issues of climate change, water and energy are central to any attempt for bridging the gap between “developed” and “developing” nations. These three critical issues have thus far been addressed in isolation from one other, in countries like India. A study of the three-way dynamic relationship between these three issues is necessary to develop national policies which meet India’s development objectives in a sustainable manner.
Description: The Energy & Resources Institute is organizing a two day workshop to deliberate on opportunities and challenges for dovetailing the administrative mechanisms and policy framework existing presently. The outcomes from the workshop will help in development of a plan of adaptation which may be capable of streamlining their governance structure.
Registration fee: Registration is free of cost. Prior intimation is expected.
