About the programme

Water will be to 21st century what oil was to 20th. The draft on water policy has raised several vital questions pertaining to livelihood of millions.
Water, reduced to a commodity, poses a major challenge to humanity.

Munneer vizhavu is a celebration of waters organized by Kings of Sangam era to protect waters and create awareness. Sangam poet Kudapulaviyanar has said only kings who have accomplished Munneer Vizhavu shall go down the pages of history.
