The Narmada Samagra is a non-profit-making Association.
Its objective is to gather public and private partners involved in water resources management and protection in India and in the world (Viz. bi- and multi-lateral cooperation organizations, ministries, water agencies, local communities, universities, engineering schools, research centers, land development companies and professionals, industrialists, professional associations, non governmental organizations) in order to set up a real partners’ network to protect and restore the river Narmada.
In this regard the Narmada Samagra is organizing an international river festival on February, 12-14, 2010 at the confluence of rivers Narmada and Tawa in Bandrabhan ,Hoshangabaad,M.P.(India), Inviting people working on various aspects of rivers and offering them a plate form to share their experience and come up with a comprehensive plan to save the river Narmada.
