About the conference
The conference will discuss and explore new and innovative methods of treatment, better understanding and assessment of resources and their supporting ecosystems, proper management for conservation and approaches to achieve the dual aim of economic development and ecological sustainability. The focus is the necessary infrastructure to provide good quality water, in sufficient quantity, in the most sustainable manner.
The conference will provide the opportunity to bring together scientists, engineers and practicing professionals from government departments, international aid agencies, private institutions, consulting establishments, research institutes and university organizations. We expect 500 delegates to attend the conference, but facilities are available for a much larger number.
Who can attend
The conference participants will include policy & decision makers, researchers from Universities & Institutions, technology developers and others interested in conservation and management of water , wastewater throughout the world.
The conference will be open for University/ college teachers, researchers, environmental managers, agriculturists, research students, representatives from R&D organizations, Government departments/ organisations, expert NGOs/ International NGOs, representatives from industries, administrators, policy makers, sociologists, economists, committed environmental activists and eco philosophers and students.
Agenda
In keeping with the best traditions of the earlier conferences ICE-IWWISH-2013 will have:
- Plenary sessions with distinguished speakers
- Concurrent technical sessions with keynote addresses on various yhemes by eminent experts,
- Selected oral presentations, and
- Poster sessions
During the conference, several w0rking groups will be organized to discuss major issues and formulate recommendations for further discussion and adoption at the final plenary session.
Call for papers
Papers are invited showing recent trends in the sub themes with a focus on cost effective and innovative Technologies that can be replicated in the developing countries. Authors are requested to submit an abstract of their research work of not more than 300 words for review before 30th March, 2013.
The authors will be informed of the acceptance of the paper after review by the scientific program committee. All submissions must be in electronic form and hard copy as per the scheduled date along with a duly signed copyright form. The proceedings of the conference will be published in standard format with ISBN No.
All abstracts must be submitted online on the conference website where further details and guidance is available. Participants are required to make preliminary registration by filling the online form before submission of their abstracts. This preliminary registration does not require any payment.
