About ECSI
The Electrochemical Society of India (ECSI) at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (est. 1963) is one of the well known scientific societies in India. It aims to create awareness in bringing together scientists, technologists, industries and academic institutions working in different disciplines.
About the programme
The FDP will include expert lectures on the state of art technologies to handle and manage various types of wastes generated by the educational institutional institutions. Professionals from industry and academia will interact with government agencies and NGOs to formulate suitable programs for efficient waste handling. A number of experts will deliver the lectures on the following topics. Persons working in Academic institutions, Government, NGOs, inventors and industries would be benefited from this FDP.
As part of its ongoing program the field visits will be arranged to gain the practical knowledge about the various issues.

Registration
Registration fee is payable by crossed DD in favour of “The Electrochemical Society of India”. However, local cheques and payable ‘at par’ cheques are acceptable.
The organizers have proposed to arrange an exhibition of products made from waste. The stalls would be available at Rs.20, 000/-
