About the event
"Exploring Natural History" is a one-day field based workshop on natural history and photography. The aim of the workshop is to enable participants to identify and appreciate common life forms like plants, trees and animals in their environment. The workshop facilitates participants to understand the different aspects of biodiversity around us. This will be followed by an interactive session moderated by experts to discuss ways and means of contributing to initiatives on biodiversity and conservation.
As an added benefit, the workshop will introduce the audience to the basic principles of appreciating biodiversity through photography. Participants will learn tips and precautions to be followed while using photography as a tool to experience biodiversity.
Facilitators
The workshop will be led by Dr. K. V. Gururaja, Dr. Karthick Bala, Dr. Aravind Madhyastha and Dr. H. S. Sudhira.
