Climate Change Network is a non-profit organization of scientists, policy makers, and scholars committed to driving scientific research and innovative policy development on global warming and climate change science. With members in more than 135 countries, the CCVC sponsors unbiased research supporting the understanding and mitigation of Global Warming.

Description
The Climate Change Volunteer Conference (CCVC) series is the leading conference in the region, engaging mainstream business and policy makers on the global warming and climate change issues and helping to facilitate action. The conference series focuses on the risks and opportunities posed to business by global warming and promotes the exchange of ideas and learning across the globe. The conference is a non-profit venture organized by the Climate Change Network and is supported by business groups, NGOs, UK Government, Department of Climate Change, and Government agencies in ten countries.

Topics
CCVC 2012 welcomes conceptual and research-based papers covering sustainable innovation, technology, product and service design and development. Papers focused on low carbon solutions and sustainable innovation related to the following topics are particularly welcomed:

Call for papers

  • Papers should fit in with the main themes of the conference - click here for details
  • Speakers are allowed to mention their companies: 'Advertisements' are NOT allowed.
  • Interested authors should send a proposed presentation title and the name of the author/presenter to the conference chair to the address listed below. Accepted papers are added to the confirmed list on a 'first come, first served' basis.
  • When the conference programme is full, no other papers will be considered for inclusion in the conference programme (although they may be considered for inclusion in CCVC Magazine).

Deadline for abstracts/proposals:  July 13, 2012

Registration fee
To be eligible for participation in the CCVC 2012 participants are required to furnish the local organizing committee with the list of their delegation within the range of (1-5 persons) from each participating organization.
This list must include,
i. Name of Organization/Country of Origin.
ii. Names and Passport Numbers of Delegates.
iii. Abstract/Paper Presentation.
iv. Motivation Letter for Access Grant.

As soon as the conference organizing committee receives this information by email, we shall process your eligibility to attend the CCVC 2012 events and issues your respective participation codes. Your delegation is expected to quote this code in all future correspondences with CCVC 2012.This will enable the CCVC 2012 organizing committee identify your group and formalize your registration requirements.

We shall fund the all round air ticket for all our qualified delegates-from your country to London and back, visa cost, per diem (excluding hotel accommodation charge) and travel Insurance via the access grant, this support is for delegates from developing countries who are unable to fund their travel costs.
