Interventions include Health, Education, Adult Literacy, Water, Environment, Sanitation, Livelihoods, Agri-advisory Services, Disability Rehabilitation and Women Empowerment, covering 193 villages spread over 6 districts in Andhra Pradesh (AP), impacting a million lives. As a part of Drinking Water initiative, the Foundation aims to provide water free from harmful bacteria and other impurities to all people on sustainable basis in the villages where it is present. The Foundation is pleased to inform that a two day workshop on "Safe Drinking Water in Rural Areas: Issues and Challenges" is proposed to be held on July 21 - 22, 2008 in Centre for Rural Transformation, Byrraju Foundation. Through this event we would like to learn and benefit from your contributions to the subject area of Drinking Water. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your valuable experience to benefit the participants of the above workshop. Kindly send in an abstract of the paper/article/case study on work carried in the area of rural drinking water, restricting the size to 500 words, through email by May 25, 2008.
