Workshop on developments in waterless urinals technology on 6th March 2010

IIT Delhi is organizing a “Workshop on Developments in Waterless Urinals Technology” on 6th March 2010 (Saturday) at MicroModel Complex of IIT Delhi between 10 AM and 4 PM.

The objective of the proposed workshop is to create  awareness on the possibilities and potential of Waterless Urinals Technology among different stakeholders such as policy makers, practitioners, manufacturers and the general public.

Workshop participants will include government functionaries and policymakers, practitioners and technical experts, representatives of NGOs and manufacturers. The workshop will deliberate on recent developments in Waterless Urinal Technology and Waterless Urinal Components presently available in the market. An exhibition by representatives of vendors and manufacturers would also be put up. and Field visit to pilot installations at IIT Delhi campus.  Initiatives on waterless urinals carried out by IIT Delhi and the Vigyan Vijay Foundation under a project supported by UNICEF and Stockholm Environment Institute would also be presented at the Workshop.

Registration to the workshop is free of cost. Participants would receive a delegate kit and tea and lunch would be served. Delegates are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. Workshop organizers regret thay they are not in a position to bear to and fro travel costs or make accommodation arrangements.
